This was done via Facebook's graffiti program, which by the way is now the coolest little bit of code in the galaxy, mostly. Apparently they upgraded the program so that it automatically saves all your brush strokes, clicks etc, so you can watch your creation come to live time lapse style in a movie, which is way cooler than sliced bread.
